  • Georges-Albert Dal took part to the Liber Amicorum Hans-Jürgen Hellwig, edited by Verlag Dr. Otto Schmidt KG (Köln), with his contribution « International arbitration and advocacy : a civilist's point of view ».

  • On 6 January 2011, Eric Boigelot was invited by the Belgian newspaper La Libre Belgique to take part in a debate on "Tax competitiveness in Belgium". A report of these discussions was published in a Tax Supplement edited by La Libre Belgique on 29 January.

    In the same supplement, Eric Boigelot and his associate Aurélie Blaffart signed a paper on "Belgian Holding companies and tax optimization".

  • A tax seminar on "Lawyers and money-laundering"
    On 20 January 2011, the Brussels Young Bar Association organized in the Brussels Palais de justice a seminar on "Lawyers and money-laundering".
    Georges-Albert Dal, in his capacity of President of the CCBE, was invited as speaker and made a report on "The Lawyer's declaration in case of money-laundering suspicion - scope of the 11 January 1993 Law and sanctions" (to access this report, click here).
    He also presided the debates held in the afternoon.
  • Former head of the Brussels French-speaking Bar and former President of the European Bar Federation, Georges-Albert Dal became President of the CCBE on 1st January 2011.
    He is the 33rd President of the CCBE.
  • Aurélie Blaffard published a book detailing the specificities of Belgian Tax Law. "L'essentiel du droit fiscal" is edited by ASP and may be ordered on-line, on the website www.aspeditions.be
