Brussels-Paris-Geneva

Dal & Veldekens have offices based in Brussels, Paris and Geneva, where legal advice and services in Belgian, European and international law are rendered.

These cities are indeed the headquarters of many international organizations the activities of which are of particular importance to Dal & Veldekens' clients.

Ethics

Dal & Veldekens is committed to maintaining the highest professional standards. Lawyers at Dal & Veldekens have graduated from the best Belgian and European universities. They are members of the Brussels Bar. Patrick Van Leynseele is also a member of the New York Bar.

Bar

The mission of the bars in Belgium is to guarantee compliance by the members of the legal profession of the highest standards of ethics, quality and integrity towards clients, institutions and colleagues. Several members of the firm played an active part in the representative body of the bar. Georges-Albert Dal was the president of the Brussels' Bar Association from 1994 to 1996. He has been elected vice-president of the CCBE (Council of the Bars and Law Societies of the European Union for the year 2009). Frederic Veldekens, Lucette Defalque and Eric Boigelot are former members of the Council of the Brussels' Bar. Thierry Bontinck is an actual member of this Council and Marc Dal is vice-president of the "Conférence du Jeune Barreau". Lucette Defalque was one of the directors of the Order of French and German Speaking Bars of Belgium.

Understanding

All the members of Dal & Veldekens seek knowledge and understanding of their clients business concerns and of the markets in which they operate. In virtually all of the practice areas of the firm, lawyers exercise multidisciplinary skills allowing the examination of complex factual situations, including statistical and economic analysis, book keeping and, particularly in the European and international law practice, public policy analysis.
